Our District Ride Coordinator has put together an awesome guided ride along with several non-guided rides for this rally.  The Fun Run route is a secret……..

The guided ride is an ALL DAY ride up to the Barkerville Historic Town and Park. You can register for this ride at the information desk we have set up at the Day’s Inn.  Departure time is 7:00AM on Saturday.  Admission to the park is $16.00 ($13.00 for seniors).  This is a must see park in central BC, depicting life during the Gold Rush days of the late 1800’s.
Ride One is a ride out to the spectacular Helmcken Falls – the 4th highest waterfall in Canada.  It is well worth the ride.  Total time to ride there and back is about 5 hours, plus time to visit.  Maybe plan a lunch in Clearwater or Little Fort.

Ride two, which we will call the “Lakes Ride” is a loop ride through some beautiful lake country and on to HWY 24 to Little Fort, then down to Kamloops, over to Cache Creek, and back up to 100 Mile House.  It is about 5 hours…

Ride three we will call the “Canyon Run” is also a loop ride through the picturesque Marble Canyon to Lillooet, down the Fraser Canyon to Lytton, and back up the Thompson Canyon to Cache Creek and back up to 100 Mile House.  It is a 5-6 hour ride.  The Lillooet Cookhouse in Lillooet is a nice biker friendly spot if you are thinking of a lunch stop along the way.

Here is a short video produced by the Thompson Nicola Film Commission.  It was filmed in the Cariboo Region of BC during the 2015 Gold Run Rally hosted by GWRRA Chapter BC-D.  This is some of the area we will be riding in during our 2022 Wings In The Cariboo Rally.
